Swimming

Among the specialized sport groups acting at SEUA, swimming has its unique place. After the swimming-pool of the SEUA was put into operation in 1988 special trainings on swimming were started.

During an academic year over 600 students are trained on swimming by qualified instructors:Y.Babayan, Kh.Sanosyan, S.Kakoyan, V.Dolenko, A.Msreyan, M.Khogoyan. The representative team of the University, which successfully participates in inter-high-school, city and republican competitions constantly taking the prize-winning position, is formed of the students with an official rating.

In summer the Representative Swimming Team of the University carries out its trainings in “Hayrivank” Sport and Health Centre, which is situated on the bank of a beautiful mountainous lake.
